Topology page doesn’t load at all when the DB size is more than 2G. If I rebuild the opennms DB then for some time it loads expected and then after a few hours, it doesn’t load.
In the postgres-.log, I could see some error related to one insert command for bridgeElement table which was failing so deleted that node.
Error something like below:
ERROR: null value in column “basetype” violates not-null constraint
Details: Failing row contains (126120, 50, 64c300000, 5, null,null,null,null,null,null,null,null,2019-05-31 08:22:22.799+00, 2019-05-31 08:22:22.799+00,
So I deleted the nodeid=50 and restart opennms and now I am getting below error continuosly in postgres-.log :
< 2019-05-27 07:50:11.421 UTC >LOG: checkpoints are occurring too frequently (3 seconds apart)
< 2019-05-27 07:50:11.421 UTC >HINT: Consider increasing the configuration parameter “checkpoint_segments”.
< 2019-05-27 07:50:15.228 UTC >LOG: checkpoints are occurring too frequently (4 seconds apart)
< 2019-05-27 07:50:15.228 UTC >HINT: Consider increasing the configuration parameter “checkpoint_segments”.
- Checkpoints -
checkpoint_segments = 20 # in logfile segments, min 1, 16MB each
checkpoint_timeout = 15min # range 30s-1h
#checkpoint_completion_target = 0.5 # checkpoint target duration, 0.0 - 1.0
#checkpoint_warning = 30s # 0 disables
Any pointers on what should I check.
