Monitoring up/down Physical Interface without IP address

Hello all,
i’d like to monitoring the fault of physical interface on router. This physical interface is member of a bundle/etherchannel ando so is without an IP address.

I have add two policies in “Provisioning Requisitions” to polled the physical interface.
The policies are:

class: org.opennms.netmgt.provision.persist.policies.MatchingSnmpInterfacePolicy
ifName : ~TenGigE.*
action : ENABLE_POLLING
matchBehavior : ALL_PARAMETERS

class: org.opennms.netmgt.provision.persist.policies.MatchingSnmpInterfacePolicy
ifName : ~^TenGigE.*$
action : ENABLE_POLLING
matchBehavior : ALL_PARAMETERS

In this way, the physical interface of the node ave the polling status “Polled”.
But it the interface goes down, there aren’t any event/alarm in the node.

How I can monitoring the fault of physical interface of router, with an event and notification of the fault?

We for this feature the “SNMP Interface Poller” which is disabled in our service-configuration.xml by default. The name there is “SnmpPoller” which can be misleading, but this is the daemon which does the job described in “SNMP Interface Poller” here: https://wiki.opennms.org/wiki/SNMP_Interface_Poller.
