Java High CPU and Memory Utilization

Hi all, we’ve set up our opennms to monitor our network and it’s running on a Hyper-V, we have discovered that java is eating up too much of our server’s resources. Is there a way to lessen java to consume up too many resources?

Our NMS specs
OS: Debian 10
RAM: 4096

The performance tuning article is a good starting point. Before you review I would consider better HW, 4096 RAM is good for small POC of 1-5 devices.
