Assisted problem reporting


We can do a much better job of assisting the user in reporting problems, whether via commercial support tickets or community forum posts. In past releases we’ve made some good efforts, but all have atrophied and some no longer work at all. This effort has the following aims:

  • Refactor code paths and UI elements that can be salvaged with a small effort
  • Identify and remove bits that are now dead weight
  • Implement replacements for removed bits
  • Make (or at least document) any needed changes / improvements to TOG-run backend systems in support of this effort
